And I know why; it happens every year about this time. Summer has faded into Autumn. My body is getting ready for longer nights, cooler temperatures and warmer clothes. My bones are looking forward to crisp air, long runs through falling autumn leaves, and going to bed a little earlier than normal.
In summer, I tend to get up with the sun and go to bed a few hours after it goes down. And I go-go-go the whole day. Then autumn comes. I sleep in to about 8AM each morning, I take a few naps each week and I snuggle into bed at about 10:15 each night.
I’m looking forward to sleeping longer and doing just a little bit less each day.
