My very first impression, in the afternoon, was so-so; the ink had a watery and feeble look that made me regret the bold "Lie de Thé". Later, in the evening, under artificial light, I had a second look on the piece of paper; wow ! is the good word. I clearly saw beautiful golden-brownish hues that looked, well, like amber. This "Ambre de Birmanie" ink is subtle in its beauty, like a beautiful sepia nineteenth century print. I would not recommend this ink if you want to pretend that you are the leader of a wolf pack; but if you are not afraid to express romanticism, sensibility and love for the arts, it is an excellent choice.
